  • Is there a charge for installing the bag?

    When you order a Territory Green Waste bag, we will deliver the frame and bag for free. There is only a charge when we come to service it.

  • What can I put in my bag?​

    Any green waste rubbish: lawn clippings, palm fronds, leaves, branches, garden waste and compose waste.

  • How heavy can my bag be?

    Green waste bags can hold a maximum weight of 120kg. A bag can hold about the same as a small trailer load, roughly 0.7 cubic meters.


    For any excessively heavy hard waste, contact us for a quote.

  • What if my bag is full before the next scheduled collection?

    Territory Green Waste can deliver additional bags and services as you require.

  • When is my collection day?

    Territory Green Waste works on a set roster each month. When you sign up, we will advise you of the day of collection of your bag.


    The night before your collection day, we will send you a friendly reminder by text (if you have provided your mobile number).

  • How and when can I pay?

    At Territory Green Waste we accept cash payment on the day of servicing (paid to the driver) or bank transfer.


    Within a few days of servicing your bag, we will send you an invoice with our banking information. The payment need to be made within 14 days.


    Territory Green Waste also offers reduced price for pre-payment of 12 collections. Pay for 11 collections and get the 12th for free.

  • What if I have large branches, long fronds, etc.?

    For any heavy branches or larger size palm fronds that can’t fit inside, just leave them on the ground next to your green waste bag and we will include them with our pick up.

  • Do you service Palmerston?

    Territory Green Waste services the greater Darwin region: Darwin CBD, Northern Suburbs, Palmerston and rural areas.

  • How much do you charge for hard waste removal?

    Each hard waste collection is different and will require a quote. Please call Rob or send a photo message to 0459 907 976 and he will contact you with a price.

  • Can I cancel a collection?

    If you notify us that your bag is empty or you don’t want it to be serviced for any other reason, no fee will be incurred. Just text or call Rob on 0459 907 976 before the day of collection.


    We will resume your bag service automatically the following month.

  • Do you have any insurance?

    Territory Green Waste has full public liability for your peace of mind.
